[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-3|3]] Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-4|4]] I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,
[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-5|5]] Hearing of your love and faith, which you hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-6|6]] That the communication of your faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-13|13]] Whom I would have retained with me, that in your stead he might have ministered to me in the bonds of the gospel:
[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-14|14]] But without your mind would I do nothing; that your benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-15|15]] For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that you shouldest receive him for ever;
[[new testament:interlinear:Philemon1-16|16]] Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
