I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-8|8]] The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-9|9]] And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-10|10]] And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he comes, he must continue a short space. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-11|11]] And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-12|12]] And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet;, but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-13|13]] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength to the beast. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-14|14]] These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-15|15]] And he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-16|16]] And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation17-17|17]] For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-2|2]] And he cried mightily, with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-3|3]] For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-4|4]] And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers, of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-5|5]] For her sins have reached to heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-6|6]] Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double to her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-7|7]] How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she said in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-8|8]] Therefore, shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-9|9]] And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-10|10]] Standing afar off, for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is your judgement come. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-11|11]] And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more: [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-12|12]] The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-13|13]] And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-14|14]] And the fruits that your soul lusted after are departed from you, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from you, and you shalt find them no more at all. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-18|18]] And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like to this great city! [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-19|19]] And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein, were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-20|20]] Rejoice over her, you heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged, you on her. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-21|21]] And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-22|22]] And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all, in you; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more, in you; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all, in you; [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation18-23|23]] And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all, in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all, in you: for your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-9|9]] And he said to me, Write, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God. And he said to me, See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-11|11]] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-12|12]] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-13|13]] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-14|14]] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-15|15]] And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress, of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-17|17]] And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-18|18]] That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men,both free and bond, both small and great. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-19|19]] And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-20|20]] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation19-21|21]] And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. {{like>}} {{like>}} [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-1|1]] And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-2|2]] And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-3|3]] And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-4|4]] And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given to them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither, had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-5|5]] But the rest of the dead lived not again, until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-6|6]] Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-7|7]] And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-8|8]] And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together, to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-9|9]] And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-10|10]] And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever , [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-11|11]] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-12|12]] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-13|13]] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation20-14|14]] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-4|4]] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be, any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-5|5]] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-6|6]] And he said to me, It is done. I am, Alpha and, Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-7|7]] He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-8|8]] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whore-mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-9|9]] And there came to me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-10|10]] And he carried me away, in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-11|11]] Having the glory of God: and her light was like to a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-12|12]] And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-13|13]] On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-14|14]] And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-15|15]] And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-16|16]] And the city lies foursquare, and the length, is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand, furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-17|17]] And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four, cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-18|18]] And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like to clear glass. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-19|19]] And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-20|20]] The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-21|21]] And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several, gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-22|22]] And I saw no temple therein:, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-23|23]] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation21-24|24]] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-8|8]] And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-9|9]] Then said he to me, See thou do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-11|11]] He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-13|13]] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-14|14]] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-15|15]] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whore-mongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-16|16]] I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-17|17]] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-18|18]] For I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book: [[new testament:interlinear:Revelation22-19|19]] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
